At Student Adventures, we believe that it is important to protect families from unforeseen circumstances that would require them to cancel their tour reservation. For this reason, we provide each trip participant with options to protect the investment they make in educational student travel by including the Cancellation Protector™ in every tour package.... and it's provided free!
Every tour participant that registers for a Student Adventures Tour is automatically covered by Cancellation Protector™, and for a small fee, trip participants may upgrade their level of protection to Cancellation Super Protector™.
Cancellation Super Protector: (Available for a small fee)
Participants may cancel for any reason up to 48 Hours prior to departure and receive a full refund less the cost of protection, the $50 non-refundable registration fee, and any non-refundable payments that were made on your behalf (Examples of these items are airfare, theatre tickets, shirts, sweatshirts, or any other prepaid activities). This protection excludes non-refundable airfare if purchased on your behalf. The Cancellation Super Protector or the Enhanced Cancellation Protector does not make refunds in the event the entire trip is cancelled as a result of or following an act of God, war (whether declared or not), terrorism, or civil unrest. The Standard Group cancellation policy will apply (see below).
Cancellation Protector: (Included at no charge)
All trip participants receive Cancellation Protector™ at no charge once they enroll for a tour. Student Adventures will refund the trip participant the amount paid less the $50 non-refundable registration fee and any non-refundable items (such as airfare, theater tickets, shirts, prepaid activities) if they cancel for the following specific reasons:
The trip participant incurs an injury that would be aggravated by travel or would prevent him/her from participating in scheduled tour activities.
The trip participant develops an illness that would prevent him/her from traveling or would be contagious to other trip participants.
Death of trip participant or an immediate family member up to the time of departure.
The trip participant is required to serve on a jury, or subpoenaed as a witness in a legal action during the scheduled time of the tour.
The trip participant is directly involved in a traffic accident while en route to the point of departure which prevents his/her from traveling.
The trip participant's home becomes uninhabitable by any natural disaster including flood, fire, hurricane or earthquake.
If the trip participant or an immediate family member becomes seriously ill, or there is a death of an immediate family member during the trip, any missed travel arrangements that were part of the tour will be refunded for that student.
Documentation is required to support all refund claims before refunds will be issued.
