  • Being experienced in student travel means you have a knowledgeable professional working with you on your trip.
  • Professional backgrounds in education mean we know what the life of the educator is like.
  • You work with the same person from beginning to end on your trip.
  • Because we are local, we can visit you at the school and attend parent meetings.
  • Licensed & trained tour guides are contracted to provide historical information.
  • A guide is hired for each bus for city tours.
  • Trip sponsors select when they desire the use of a guide.
  • Different from tour guides, the Tour Director’s task is to facilitate the trip.
  • Experienced & trained Tour Directors are contracted by Student Adventures.
  • Tour Directors work with the trip sponsor and bus leaders to keep up with the itinerary or make suggestions and changes when necessary.
  • Tour Directors meet you at the school at the time of departure and travel with your school for the duration of the trip.
  • Tour Directors distribute tickets, cash, and vouchers to the buses.
  • Tour Directors send text messages through our Trip App to update the group, establish meeting places & times, and trip sponsor’s instructions or expectations.
  • Typically, there is one Tour Director for 1-4 buses.
  • Student Adventures hires Tour Directors who have been certified through ITMI (International Tour Management Institute), IGA(International Guide Academy), or TripSchool. We also hire retired educators with years of travel experience.
  • All Tour Directors must pass a thorough background check.
  • Physical office open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Talk to a live person anytime you call during business hours.
  • On-line registration is simple and takes just a few minutes.
  • Parents receive both emails & text messages as payment reminders.
  • Option to have payments automatically made on each due date.
  • Fundraising applied to each person’s account.
